Honolulu's longstanding community theater with year-round youth tracks

Diamond Head Theatre is a Honolulu institution producing main stage musicals and plays alongside year-round arts education. Classes serve "keiki to kupuna" (children through seniors) from the 520 Makapuu Avenue venue.

Programs for Kids and Teens

Year-round classes plus performance troupes:
- Shooting Stars performance troupe (ages 8-16) - acting, singing, dance
- Musical Theatre Experience summer program (ages 7-16, 7-week half-day)
- Year-round classes meeting weekly for 8-10 weeks
- Acting, singing, and dancing instruction

Experience

The Shooting Stars troupe gives kids who pass auditions consistent stage time across the season. Summer Musical Theatre Experience is a serious 7-week intensive rather than a sample camp.
