Hahamongna Watershed Park
About
300-Acre Wilderness Park at the Mouth of Arroyo Seco
Hahamongna Watershed Park preserves 300 acres at the mouth of Arroyo Seco where it exits the San Gabriel Mountains - one of the largest wilderness parks within an LA-area city. Walking trails, equestrian paths, mountain bike trails, and the Hahamongna Native Plant Nursery.
What Kids Can Do
Multiple miles of dirt walking trails wind through the chaparral and floodplain. The Audubon Center at Debs Park is nearby for combined nature visits. Disc golf course in the park's south end. Mountain biking trails for older kids and teens (single-track plus open dirt). Equestrian boarding stables on-site. Native Plant Nursery sells local-flora plants for backyard gardens [marked: park gets hot in summer - go early morning or after 4pm].
What's Included
Free day-use of all trails, disc golf, and park areas. Native Plant Nursery sells plants by donation.
