What Kids Can Do
The Children's Garden has a sensory-focused playscape with magnetic walls, sundials, and rain-curtain. Australian Garden, Desert Garden, Japanese Garden, and Chinese Garden each show distinctly different landscapes. Camellia Garden blooms peak January-March. Rose Garden peaks April-May. Art Galleries display Blue Boy and Pinkie portraits kids recognize from school. Bonsai display has hundreds of trees. Two-mile loop walk covers all major gardens [marked: timed-entry tickets required - reserve online before driving up].
