Heymann Park is a 28-acre Lafayette community park anchored by an 18-hole disc golf course, lighted tennis courts, baseball field, basketball courts, recreation center, jogging trail, playground, and shaded picnic areas.
What Kids Can Do
The 18-hole disc golf course is one of central Louisiana's best - kids 6+ can play the front 9 with parents. Playground has climbing structures and slides. Tennis courts open for casual play. The Recreation Center hosts after-school programs and summer camps. Half-mile jogging trail loops the park. Picnic shelters with grills for parties [marked: weekend afternoons can be busy with city league baseball/softball games - parking can fill up].
