Wichita's Premier Arts Center with Kids Cooking

Mark Arts is Wichita's flagship arts center, running ceramics, drawing, painting, jewelry, sculpture - and a culinary arts program with its own teaching kitchen. Kids classes pair from-scratch cooking with the Mark Arts standard of focused, instructor-led learning.

Kids Programs

Kids Day Out cooking classes run weekly. Programs include:
- Kids Day Out cooking classes (ages 9-12, with Chef Sue)
- Weekly lessons focused on preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Recipes made from scratch
- Seasonal kids camps and side-by-side parent-child workshops

Experience

Kids work through real recipes with Chef Sue, building skills week over week. Mark Arts' multi-discipline center means students can rotate between cooking, ceramics, and other arts classes throughout the year. Open Tuesday through Saturday year-round.
