Hohokam Archaeological Site in Mesa
Mesa Grande Cultural Park preserves a Hohokam platform mound and surrounding archaeological landscape in central Mesa. The site is open seasonally from October through May with trained archaeologists running interpretive programs. Operated by the Arizona Museum of Natural History.
Archaeology Field Trips
Programs target grades 4 and up with field-trip-style sessions and self-guided visits. Programs include:
