Lower Salt River Tubing Operator Since 1981
Salt River Tubing is the long-running operator of inner-tube floats on the Lower Salt River in the Tonto National Forest, just east of Mesa. Float routes range from a 2-hour loop to a 5-hour run, with shuttle service included.
Family Float Trips
Day-use operation runs May through September. Programs include:
- Tube rentals with shuttle ($28 plus tax, ages 8+)
- 2-hour to 5-hour float routes
- Saguaro Lake adjacent routes via Saguaro Lake Guest Ranch
- Family group bookings
- Life jackets available for purchase

- All children 12 and under required to wear life jackets
Experience
Quintessential Arizona summer outing - float through Tonto National Forest, look for wild horses on the bank, end up sun-tired by evening. Minimum age 8 and 4 ft height requirement. Strong fit for families with older elementary and up. Rentals 9 a.m.-2 p.m. daily in season.
