Performance Club Kids

Studio Theater for Young Wilmington-area Actors

Performance Club Kids is a Wrightsville Beach-based children's theater organization founded in 2005 by professional actor LJ Woodard. The studio teaches over 400 young performers annually through after-school programs, summer camps, and semi-professional productions.

Children's Theater Programs

Classes for grades K-8 cover acting fundamentals plus a Summer Stock track for ages 8-19 with semi-professional productions. Programs include:
- Children's Theater in the Park
- Young Professionals
- Improvisation, Scene Study, Audition Technique
- Musical Theater
- Summer Camps (improv, creative movement, scene study)

Experience

Backstage ranked Performance Club Kids in the top 12 children's theater companies nationally. The program fits young actors building stage confidence, scene-study craft, or aiming at semi-professional youth productions.
