372-Acre Wetland Park Managed by UTEP
Rio Bosque Wetlands Park is a 372-acre City of El Paso park managed by UTEP's Center for Environmental Resource Management. The site has been restored from agricultural land into Chihuahuan Desert riparian habitat - 229 documented bird species, including resident Gambel's Quail, Harris's Hawk, Burrowing Owl, Verdin, and Crissal Thrasher.
Tours & Field Programs
CERM runs regularly scheduled tours, volunteer workdays, and faunal-monitoring activities open to the public. Programs include:

- Trail access dawn to dusk, 7 days a week
