Worcester Martial Arts Academy on Shrewsbury Street has been on the Worcester mat scene since 2007, running a kids judo program alongside Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, no-gi grappling and MMA.

Kids Judo and Jiu-Jitsu

Two kids tracks split by age, with judo at the core. Programs include:
- Jr. Judo Wildcats (ages 4-6)
- Judo Wildcats (ages 7-13)
- Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
- Miyama Ryu Jiu-Jitsu (self-defense)
- No-Gi Grappling

What's Included

• Mats and rental gi for trial classes
• Black-belt instruction
• Small kid-class ratios

Experience

Long-running grappling gym focused on coordination, fitness and social skills for younger kids, then layering throws (judo), ground positions (BJJ) and self-defense applications as kids progress.
