Englewood MetroPark
About
1,900 Acres Around Englewood Reservoir
Englewood MetroPark surrounds the Englewood Reservoir on the Stillwater River - 1,900 acres of forest, prairie, and wetland with nature play areas, fishing, and 12 miles of trails. The largest park in the Five Rivers MetroParks system.
What Kids Can Do
The Nature Play Area at South Park lets kids build forts from natural materials, count bugs, and roam unstructured - benches for parents to watch. The Patty Falls Trail (1 mile) takes families to a small waterfall. Boating (electric motors only) on the reservoir for paddleboards, kayaks, and rowboats. Twelve miles of mountain bike trails for older kids. Disc golf course at South Park. Picnic shelters across three park sections [marked: reservoir swimming not allowed - kayaking and paddleboarding only].
What's Included
Free day-use across all three park areas. Trails, Nature Play Area, picnic shelters, disc golf included. Boat rentals and special programs priced separately.
