Experience

Strong community-engagement angle - the school grew out of Chef Evelyn's earlier work teaching healthy meal preparation in Detroit schools. Summer camps emphasize practical international cuisines and from-scratch baking rather than novelty themes, which fits older elementary and middle-school cooks who want to leave the camp able to repeat the dishes at home.
