John McEnroe Tennis Academy (JMTA) operates out of SPORTIME Randall's Island, a 260,000 square foot facility on Randall's Island Park in Manhattan. It is JMTA's flagship NYC location, with 17 year-round indoor courts plus 12 outdoor courts open in summer, hard and soft surfaces both available.
Junior Tennis Programs
JMTA runs a USTA progression-based curriculum for kids:
- MAC Red & Orange Ball - introductory level using foam and low-compression balls
- Green & Yellow Ball Training - intermediate to advanced stroke and match play
- Performance Enhancements - fitness, agility, and mental training tailored for competitive juniors
- Training Camps and School Break Camps
- College Navigator Service for high-school players targeting college tennis

Experience
Players range from first-time 5-year-olds to tournament juniors prepping for ITF and college play. The academy is busy and competitive, with multiple courts running side-by-side and a coaching depth that supports both beginner group lessons and pre-professional development.
