Indoor Tennis Club in Riverdale

The Club of Riverdale (TCR) operates six year-round indoor hard courts in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. The junior tennis program runs through every week of the school year and into summer, with a coaching staff that develops kids from first-time players up to nationally-ranked junior tournament play.

Junior Tennis Programs

Three tracks span ages 3 through 17:
- QuickStart (ages 3-6) - intro to tennis with appropriately sized racquets and slower-bouncing balls
- Future Stars (ages 6-11) - beginner to intermediate stroke development and match play
- High Performance (ages 8-17) - advanced training for competitive junior players

Private lessons and pro-monitored match play sessions are also available.

Experience

TCR keeps groups small so coaches can focus on each player's technique. Kids enrolled in the 34-week Future Stars or High Performance tracks are considered Junior Members of the club, with access to amenities beyond the courts. The atmosphere fits families who want serious, year-round development rather than seasonal drop-in lessons.
