Urban Forest Five Miles from Downtown
The Outdoor Activity Center is a 26-acre old-growth forest preserve run by West Atlanta Watershed Alliance, an environmental justice nonprofit. The site combines two miles of trails, a treehouse classroom, a 650-gallon freshwater aquarium, and a multi-purpose building - one of the only urban nature centers in southwest Atlanta.
Youth & School Programs
Programming covers environmental education, conservation skills, and field experiences. Programs include:
- O-Academy summer camp
- Environmental Stewardship for youth 10+
