Sacramento Zoo

Land Park Zoo Since 1927

The Sacramento Zoo is a 14-acre AZA-accredited zoo in William Land Park, home to more than 300 animals across 140+ species. The zoo runs an extensive year-round education program from a dedicated education building on the grounds.

Camps & Classes Pre-K to High School

The Sacramento Zoo Education Department offers camps and classes year-round. Programs include:
- Summer Camps for preschool through high school
- Winter Mini-Camps for grades 1-6
- Preschool zoo classes
- Junior Zookeeper experience (teens)
- Behind-the-scenes encounters
- School field trips and outreach

Experience
